I have a 1989 325iX and I have tossed around the idea of putting in a decent sized turbo or a Vortex Supercharger. I have found a blower from an older Thunderbird that I think I could hackly put in and I also have an old turbo out of a 1988 Nissan 300ZX. Not that i plan on putting either of them in but I'd like to know if there is anyone who has previously done a turbo or super upgrade and wht you had to do to get it to work and what gains did you have... Thank you in advance.
no... it originally said "2988 300zx" but is hould have been 1988 300zx... I was making a joke by saying that it was fromthe future... as in the year 2988. :P
Charge it baybeeeee ohh ya...that would be hot...i gottta see a Supercharged 325iX...more dependable runs cooler and wont throw off the powerband...goddamn thats hot...do the supercharger...mated with the AWD......

I'm totally leaning towards the Super... It takes a whole lot less work too... I'd say it would be sweet!! We have this dream about pulling up next to a Viper or something and just cleaning his ass!!
