I just got a 86 325e and I'm planning on doing a nice tune up to it. I live in Germany and the inspections here are extremely detailed (not to mention expensive) and everything was good, but I want to do this anyways just so I know that I'll be alright driving distances on the autobahn. I'm going to change cap, rotor, fuel filter, plugs, wires, air filter(k&n), flush radiator, oil and filter (of course), pcv valve, and probably run fuel injector cleaner. Brakes need to be done too, so if you have any tips on something that could go wrong with disc brakes (if that's even possible). If you guys know of anyone better for stuff than Bosch for OEM stuff let me know, otherwise I'm going with their stuff. The car was serviced the entire time by BMW and was always done on schedule for the entire time it has been on the road (pretty amazing). But, if you guys know of anything that may need to be done to a car this old, let me know. Off topic, I've been reading on this site, and you guys are a lot friendlier than most other car sites I'm registered on. It's kind of nice.

Yeah, I'm doing everything myself. I've been working on cars for years. My baby is a 95 Altima that I'm in the process of finding an engine to rebuild for it (nothing wrong with the old one, I just want 400 hp out of a 150 hp car). The BMW is what I bought to get me from a to b while I'm in Germany... Wiesbaden by the way. So, if you guys know anyone who sells stuff pretty cheap out here, let me know please. Thanks.
