Trunk Problem, need to get inside!

Hi, I dismantled my trunk lock to take it to the locksmith so he would make a key, I came back and and tried to assemble the trunk lock back but could not figure how to connect the electric parts of the lock... anyways, my mother decided to close the trunk before I finished connecting it so know I cannot open the trunk with the key since the lock is not completely assembled! I figured my solution was to get inside the trunk.... but it seems there is no way to do that!! I removed the back seats but there is a metal plate behind them that does not let me get into the trunk!! Is there any way to get inside? Thank a lot for your help!

maybe you can get in somehow but i would say the best thing to probebly do is to call in one of those pop a lock guys that come to your place and unlock what ever you need but it cost quiet a bit. just google something like pop a lock or something.

what i ended up doing to my car was taking a grinder to it and cut a hole just big enough for me to squeeze thru and i unbolted the lock rod from the lid. it still isnt put back on for me yet since i need to figure out how to make the assembly work smoothly again. as for the hole, ill probably weld some bolts to the body and make a cover for the hole. and cover is up with a sub box.

Your lock might be messed up have you tried to just press and lift the lock button while the car is unlocked? That's how it is with me
