I realize this isn't much of a tech question....but here it goes anyways....
I just back from the car wash, and this is the first time it's been above 10 degrees for a couple months, but the pressure washer took a peice of paint off of the trunk BMW emblem....it looked brand new until today....I personally hate it when BMW's have chipped or faded emblems.: ...anyways I looked under the trunk and I have no idea how to get the sucker off....well beside prying it off with a flat head screw driver....
any pointers on how to remove this with out damaging anything??
speaking of new emblems...I was just looking around Ebay and found some emblems with a carbin fiber look instead of the blue...since my car is black I thought it might be cool to get the carbon fiber ones...
meh, as long as it doesn't bring TOO much attention to itself...
When I bought my roundels (from the dealer) they removed the old ones with what looked like a rubber putty spreader. It was flexible.. either way, you could use a credit card or ID or something.

It will take some effort to get them off. Because of my awesome luck i had one rubber grommet and pin break off and stay in the whole. had fun with some pliers getting them out.
Here's the carbon fiber ones i bought off ebay. every other palce that sells the cf ones dont have the CF for both black and silver and also those other ones are usually stickers and not the whole emblem.

Just go to ebay and type in "carbon bmw e30" in the search (don't click "title and description") and it will list them. They are from the UK and their dialect is a tad different than ours, we say "emblems for hood/trunk" they say "badges for boot/bonnet" Go figure....
My only beef with getting dif color emblems is that the emblems on all my wheels would still have the blue...I just realized that...hmmmmm....maybe I'll just have to stick with blue all the way around...
