trouble staring

Hey guys this is my first post. I have a 1991 325I that is trouble starting. The car runs great after it is started. It just takes a couple seconds to long to start. Any ideas of how to fix this. Thanks.

your fuel pump could be on its way out

I agree, its the fuel pump getting weak. Theyre very easy to replace tho. Right underneath the right side of the rear seat bottom. I need to replace my right side fuel level sending unit in mine. It could ALSo be a clogged fuel filter too.

I second the fuel filter, try that first as it's a cheap part (mine was six bucks at CarQuest.) I chased starting problems for months, ended up being a clogged filter and a bad relay.
