Tire recommendations - BMW Forum

I have a '92 e30 cabrio. I have the standard 14x7 basketweaves. I am bidding on some 15x7 euro basketweaves from Germany on Ebay. I am using the car as a daily driver not a track car. I figured I could improve the handling & looks & keeping a traditional look by going to the 15" wheel without any mods, spacers, lowering etc.
I live in the Northeast and will be driving in some snow & wet roads. My question is what do you folks think is a good performing all season tire that handles well but also has good grip in wet conditions at a reasonable price?
I have been considering Bridgestone Potenza RE950s. I have the Michelin MX4s on now and HATE them!!
Your opinions appreciated!

Keep your 14x6.5 baskets for Firestone winterforce that are $43 each and then buy some real decent tires for the 15x7.

By the way the ebay prices have been going thru the roof on these lately. Shipping from GI's at apo ae address should not be more than 53 with insurace to ship them via US postal.

The more I look at the them the more I'm thinking of getting Ronal Ls wheels instead. They look sooooo good on an e30! 169.00 each plus S/H.

Funny as Gary had them listed on Roadfly as a special for $99 each. I would call out to Ronal.

I spoke to Gary at Ronal yesterday. Said they will be available in about 4 weeks. They are en route from Germany and wanted a 150.00 deposit for an advance order. Suggested a wheel/tire package. 999.00 for a set of 4 wheels wrapped with Khomo ASA tires.
When were they being offered for 99.00 ????? Dayum wish I knew!!!
