UNfortunately, i have to sell my BMW. Since no one looks at the classifieds, i'm posting here. Anyway, here are the specs.
1985
2-dr BAUR TC (Targa Cabriolet) (see pix)
Burgundy body w/ Tan top( new window)
Less than 75000 miles
5 spd manual
Tan interior (Leather)
Winter steels(14) and summer rims(16)
HARTGE Trim package(rear difusers, wheels, pinstriping, shift knob)
Damage:
Standard K-mart rash on doors,
Some damage to Driver's side above taillight( not serious)
Dent in hood ( could be fixed easily, haven't had time)
needs new fender, front drivers side.(beginning to rust through)
Rest of rust is purely surface, was planning on rebuilding and repainting this summer, but...
Interior:
Side bolster on driver seat torn,
Glovebox has been misssing since I bought it
Rear Seat has a tear in top
Motor:
It runs great, simply needs the valves adjusted. Once again, I was going to do it, but things never worked out that way.
Hmmm...no emails, no replies, could this mean you are all at the bank trying to get loans? Well, hope someone gets interested, 'cuz i kind of have to sell it soon.

Have you tried advertise it somewhere else? You should put it up on ebay, and set a reserve on it.Its a preety rare car,Im sure someone will appriciate it.I do,but most of us here has already what they wanted.
Good luck!!

OK...far as i can tell, the targa option was an aftermarket addition added by hartge. they got a certain number of BMW's, and did pretty much what they wanted to do with them. I've only been able to find one other e30 323 Targa and that is in Britian somewhere. And the rear window is plastic, b/c the back half of the top folds down.
Edit: If I can't sell it to a fellow Bimmerhead, plans are in the works for Ebay.

OK new info...i talked to a guy from Houston, and he owned a 323i like mine at one time. when he owned it, he researched it and called BMW of NA. They said that they NEVER publicly imported the 323i in 1985. They told him that if he had one, the original owner either went to germany and got it, or went through a private import firm. So, it appears this car is a little more rare than i expected.
