Well I don't actually....it's getting towed in tomorrow morning. My wife was driving the 325ix today and when she went to pull out a loud clicking or grinding noice came front he front of the car. Now everyone is telling me I smoked the clutch but...would I even be able to shift it into gear if the clutch was smoked? I would think that if it is gone that the shifter would not go out of the nuetral position.. used I thinking it's something maybe in the transfer case. Either way i figure this gonna cost about 8 or 9 hundred bucks till its all said and done. oh well....thats part of the joys of driving the ultimate driving machine :P

btw ..the first thing I thought was omg the timing belt but the car is running fine...so it has to be something in the drive train.

you could have striped the plate. wich would happen as you let the clutch out and the two surfaces made contact.

moral of the story

woman shouldnt drive
