first of all i want to thank this board for all the solid information needed to get my blue baby purring again.

the HOT-SOAK did a nice number on the 200,000miles so far. is it too much to do one before every oil change ?

and also after the hotsoak i did one using upper-engine Lubricants, in a bottle meant for the fuel but after i did that the engine got even qiueter and smoother. never better..

and also

thanks for the re-finishing of my rubber bumper (and other parts)
so easy

the use of minearal oil and a bit of wet-sand paper (260 -320-400) for NEW looking rubber parts. i thought i would have to replace.

and thanks to all the nerds for making this post possible, i may never buy another car again. if you are root you are great.
