if i used the spray paint tint to smoke my tail/head lights will i pass inspection? cuz i wanna smoke my lights but it's not worth it if it's not gonna pass inspection so if anyone knows if it'll pass in PA let me know
Smoked lights are likely to not pass. I can see why, all the smoked tails I see barely light in daytime. And smoked headlights, well how can anyone see in the dark with them?
To each his own, I use to have stained glass red painted tails. Ultimately, this reduced visibility the least of anything though over time I got tired of it. I drive 40-50k miles a year so I wanted to be as visible as possible. I then modified my stock tail lights to be even brighter and installed some clean non painted ones.

I spray tinted my tails and turn signals and blacked out the side markers....but, I think the spray tint has lightened over the past few months. When I first did it they looked almost too dark. yesterday I parked next to an e30 with stock tails and mine looked about the same tint.
in any case, I've never had a problem passing inspection...
