ok my car at low rpms, make this god aweful sound after its warm (the engine) but when i accel and get past like 3200rpm it goes away, i was told that it had to do with thinning oil and more oil goes around when the engine has to work harder, and that the sound might definatly be the timing chain tensioner...i added lucas 100% oil stuff and it still makes the sound...anybody have this problem ever??? i have a 1991 318iS (m42-b18)
