well I bought this car and I want to do an oil change on it... the previous owner has been running regular 10-40 on it, is it worth the extra money to go synthetic?

i have run synthetic in all my cars and never had a problem with it, even at 300,000, just the more miles then the heavier weight you need to buy,
good luck

hmm, it has 111k - but I seriously doubt this milage is very close. The odometer is broke, the guy I bought it from said it was broke for a little less than a year.. whether or not he was lying I don't know
mine leaked when i switched at 109,. and i have to replace the valce cover gasket for about $50 for the part. There used to be a very small leak on the oil pan gasket, but now its gone
