Swaps Into 325es

as many of you know the bmw 325es came with the 2.7 liter only pushing a little over 120 ponies. however, the cousin, the 2.5 liter which cam in the 325i has a little over 170 ponies. i've read that swapping these two is a direct drop however, i'm wondering what kind of ecu as well as re-wiring is involved.

i also read that with the 2.7 liter, i can swap the head out with i dont remember which head but its suppose to up the horsepower to about 160. anybody know more about this?

yes it is a direct drop, and you would need the wiring harnes and ecu out of the "i" car. You can put an "i" head on an "e" motor and it does give it some more kick
