I haven't been here in a long long while but i am really considering swaping a M30-B35 into my 1991 318iS. I am questioned about which to do; add a super charger or a turbo. Personally I like super-chargers better but i'd get more HP with a twin-turbo setup. Can you guys help me out with ups and downs of doing either. Thanks ^_^

Personally i would go with the turbos because, you can they are often more reliable, also they produce more horse power, as long as you have an engine with only one bank of cylinders, the turbos would be better but if you have two banks of cylinders, the blower would be better. But it is proven that a supercharged motor launches better than a turbo does.
by the way, would anyone know if they make a blower for a M60 engine, if they do, where can i find one.
it launches better only cause a supercharger runs off the engine itself as a turbo runs off of the air shot thru exhaust. but yeah turbo dude and by twin turbo you mean a turbo with two spools or literaly 2 turbos that would be sick with to turbos!!
i have a couple of websites that sell superchargers and turbos and also one that sells engine swaps, let me know if you want them

get a supercharger. you'll be alot happier with it if you drive it daily.
there is no replacement for low down grunt. i dont care how much hp you have..
ive been switching between alot of different cars over the last couple days (camaro, cts 3.6, boxster 3.2, saab 9-3, h2, and a couple others) while my car has been down. by and large low down torque is the most rewarding.
supercharger baby, supercharger.
oh yea, and driving the e30 after driving lots of various throttle by wire cars, just feels weird. =P
I dont think that anybody in this forum has an E30 with a super/turbo charger.. I havnt seen one anyway.... If anybody does please come forward with some pics!!
