My sun roof in my 318i got stuck half way through and wont finish closing, it also does not open completely back wards. It is manual is no electrical, it got stuck closing it and its half way closed. Any ideas on what can i do to get it fully closed? thanks
grab the underside of the sunroof, about in the middle, inside the car with one hand, the fabric shoudl stretch just enough to get fingertips on it. then push the button with the other hand while pulling the sunroof closed. usually what happens is the cables are just too stretched out and don't have enough tension to pull the cassette closed.
