What is better 1 12" Kicker CVR in a bandpass box or 2 12" CVR's in a bandpass box?????????????????? with 2 kicker amps

used: what i want is to pull up to hondas that think there stock sys with the bass turned up is loud and i turn mine on they go from

1 10" MTX in a large (well built) ported box with a 1000 watt amp with a 3 farad capacitor. Then up your battery to an marine grade optima spiral cell battery. 200a circuit breaker, with 1 gauge wire. Remove all the molded carpet, then dyna-mat everything. Put rubber stick on pads on your license plate back and remove or prop open both cabin vents in the trunk.

P.S. Buy stock in a company that sells hearing aids.

Actually kickers have gone down in quality lately, even the lower end memphis speakers are better. The name means nothing any more, performance talks, speaking from the feedback I get from 3 major audio shops I deal with, 1 well set up T9500 10" MTX hits harder than 1 12" kicker or rockford fosgate. I didn't believe it either but "the proof is in the pudding" as they say.

It was gonna be 2 kicker l5's or l7's the silver ones they sounded good in my buddys jeep i could hear him 2-3 blocks away and kicker amps

I agree, I have one old school 10" Rockford Fosgate HX2 wired up to a 500 watt Kenwood monoblock amp, and it can hit pretty damn hard. Great, tight sound out of it too. More than enough bass to get the best feel for the music, any more than a single 10 with a good amp in an e30 is just plain nuts. lol

I Normally listen to music(Like Infected Mushroom

(techno) at a modernte level with a little extra bass

the reason i ask was i want when the lil ricers(like my friends E46 braf much

) pull up with a stock or modded system(only for look at me status) with the bass way up(no treb or mids) i can turn mine WITH mids and treb. and they turn theres Way down

I find it funny specially when there gf Or in rare occations there bf is in their car

I have boston acostic 6 1/2 componants that were well a very pretty penny and they keep up with the 2 kickers in my buds old jeep(Traded the subs for my e30 REALLY LONG story) so i perfer sound quality i just want to be able to turn it up at times

I had an Infinty 10" and 150watt Kenwood in my Ford ranger (4.0 V6)that seemed to be enough for me. The key was the 3 adjustable filteres 1 Low pass 2 High pass. I could blow out most Hondas with my Black Sabath, old Van Haled, DOA, White Zombie, Maralyn Manson, etc CD's LOL
I havent built my E30 up yet but like to hear good input. I think theres a form for that (stereo/electronics) here too.
I'm still working on the go fast parts.
