IT SAYS BETWEEN 3000 AND 5000 RPM!!! BUT MY CAR IDLES AT 1000RPM STOCK SO WTF!!!!
I HAD EVERYTHING CHECKED BY MY MECHANIC LAST WEEK AND HE SAID EVERYTHING ON MY CAR WAS FINE SO SCREW COPS THEY DONT KNOW SHIT!!! IM GOING UPHILL IN THIRD GEAR AT ABOUT 2500 RPMS AND THE COP SAYS MY EXHAUST IS TOO LOUD? UNBELIEVABLE!!!1

I was just going to say that if you're running a 3.5 inch can, CAI, and cams... your car probally -is- louder than most cars. Why not get a more conservitave muffler? Not like that 3.5 inch tip adds any performance.

fuck em...take it to the ref have em right it off...whalaa $5 ticket in CA...if you have exhaust plan to be harassed...comes with the territory...

i've had that same shit, did he have a decibal meter to tell you exacly how loud you were? Becuase they can't file the ticket unless they have hard evedance. Fight it and you'll win

The cop can measure 95 dB with his ear? Wow he's good. Take it to the judge. Prepare yourself and get all the info you need and fight in court.

Basically if the cops windows are up and he can still hear your car when you're 4 cars behind him...you're gonna get a ticket.

Though if you think your stuff is legit...then fight it.

why take it to court? its gonna take up your time and money....its a goddamn fix it ticket...in CA you drive up to the CHP station show them its carb exempt let them here it up to 3k rpms and they right it off and you send it in with $5!!!!!!! i know its gotta be even easier in every other state...cry me a river...this thread is lame...
