what is the difference between a gas filled shock or an oil fill shock. is one better than the other? One of my shocks went in the front and i need to get it repaired. the mechanic told me that i may as well do both b/c the other one will probably go soon also. any info. would help. thanks
I can't really give a comparison between gas & oil except that gas is baisicaly Air and well oil is oil. As far a replacing the general rule = replace in pairs this will help keep the car balanced. If I were you I would replace all four if the $ is available. Check www.turnermotorsport.com ( good prices they have a good selecton ).
