Strut Tower Brace??? - BMW Forum

Hey guys need some more advice on strut tower braces. What's a good brand? Leave your reccomendations.

ireland engineering hands down, no competition. Do not buy anything with hinges if you dont buy theirs... ( but they are pretty much the only people without hinges anyway...)

Ireland is the best hes right hands down but id call seambmw.com they have ireland but its cheaper but then again its all up to you but by all means use ireland, hinges will kill the effectivness of the strut bar anyone who tells you different is a moron.Nice call Fox. the sparco brace is basically the same thing as IE's (only comes in red instead of black) and usually runs cheaper

As for the cheaper thing... i dunno. I always find sparcos running about the same price or a little more but i dont look that often anymore.

i bought my sparco brace for $90, and last i checked the IE bar was around 130

overall I do agree about the hinges but a strut bar is made for lateral bracing not vertical. So even the hinged ones are somewhat effective.
