Strut Housing

hey all, i am replacing my struts on my 87 325 and noticed that when i took everything apart the strut housings were in very bad shape(all rusted out and bad threads) does anyone now were i can get a good used pair for cheap?

do the housings have the abs sensor on them? (i think it is the abs sensor) on my housings there is a wire that is very difficult to get off. it is held on by a nut that needs a 5mm wrench to get it off. i got the nut off but cant get the sensor off.

the sensors come seperatly, but give the guy a call he's easy to deal with.

call up local scrap yards and get some prices.

the abs sensors are a pain to break free. just be careful with them, they're over 100 new each.
