...stranded by the car ftl. Help me

was driving my car, nothing to special, no hard driving just basic 4k shifts. Car starts to sputter. I keep driving. Car dies while rolling in neutral, I keep going. Car then dies while in gear at speed.


I could no longer pop the clutch..it would just roll with the gears engadged but no power to the engine.


wtf happend.

I am thinking fuel pump, but i dont know..cause this problems has been going on for a while(erratic idle every once in a while. ) so...whats the deal?

I also missed a math test review and homework time today...took me like 4 hours to get the car towed..only to have to lave for another class.

Car doesnt seem to be getting spark either(pulled it and grounded it to transmission.

so that might have somethign to do with it.


ideas? I commute 100 miles a day..our extra car is broken also...so i am gonna have no car after tomarow to get to class...so i need some discussion as to wtf might have happend?

Sounds like a clogged fuel filter and/or fuel pump.

ok. well. Fuel pump replaced.
wheres the DME relay?

I also realized my TMS chip was loose(i took out my ECU to check..cause when i closed the glvoebox the car would shutter) the chip was loose. I clipping it back in and now the car only clicks...no turn over.

might sound dumb, but did you put the chip back in backwards? and for location of the relay check the bentley yo

check fuse located in trunk!!! The small wire which connects to pos. battery post... about 6in from battery. This wire powers your computer in your glove box and if fuse is blown you wont get spark and the engine will not start. if this fuse is blown just wire up one. If it is not blown then the computer in your glove box is either not grounded correctly or needs to be replaced.. If u need any more info let me know
