Steering Wheel Help!!!

I Need help, this may sound dumb but im new to bmw's. i took off the steering wheel to put in my new SI Board and now i cant put it back on, please help, theres a little square thingy on the top of the steering column that wont let the wheel go back in. (Nevermind, i got in i feel dumb now lol)

i put the steering wheel back on and put some petrollium jelly on, and when i try to turn the car on the horn sounds and doesnt shut up until i put the key back in off, any help will be greatly appreciated! i need help fast.

Make sure the key is in the ignition cylinder and turned to the Acc. positon to undo the lock.

i did that but when i put the steering wheel back on the horn goes off and i dont know how to stop it properly, i put petrollium jelly like the haynes book says but that does nothing, please help asap. thanks
