I am having the same problems with my 325ic. Sometimes it start running like s#it when I am driving and then run totally fine after that. Sometimes (like now) it won't even start. If I wait a day or two, it will start. I don't know if it is the injectors or the fuel pump. Any insight will be GREATLY appreciated.

Mark

I don't know if this helps, but I did run out of gas one time. I am thinking I could have sucked up some slude and gotten lodged in the fuel filter and or injectors.

I bit the bullet and took it to a shop qualified to work on Bimmers and low and behold it was the fuel pump. Cost about 433 to replace along with fuel filter. Mechanic said he used a BMW pump that cost about 250. I will be cracking the access cover open to verify that.

FYI pumps take 30 min to an hour to replace-do it yourself and save.
