Speedometer Sensor / Differential

i want to check and see if my speedometer sensor in the differential is what's causing my speedometer not to work. in my manual it details a pretty ridiculous process to get to it. draining fluids, etc etc. is there anyway i can get to the speedometer sensor without doing everything and just check the connections?

ya. idiot me it was a fockin BLOWN FUSE.

like in the checklist of checking for problems, i skipped the easiest part. i took apart my cluster and everything. went to the speedometer sensor and took it apart, reattached it, only to find that fockin fuse..12 or 14 whatever it was, was blown.

whoops... I hate when that happens. Oh well, at least you didn't take your diff apart...
