hey guys ... my 85 318i's speedometer/odometer stopped working after playing with the radio ...... any1 have any idea how much it would be to get it working again

90% of the issues on BMW speedometers is one connector on the aft face of the differential. That is the location of the sensor.

Clean it up with a pencil eraser and wd40, then use some petroleum grease to seal the rubber boot.

could be the connection with the differential. But last tmie when I was installing the deck I screwed up my spidometer and tac as well. I forgot to disconnect the fuse box before installing the deck. I blew a fuse because of that. Check your fuses, it should be a 15 or a 7.5 fuse.
