speedo/instrument cluseter WTB

my speedo is not working as it should.. I am looking for a cluster for my 87 325is/e30 so I can replace the one I have.. if it is a little beat up or has high mileage that is fine as long as it works.

speedo and mpg works then doesn't work.. seems to work when it wants to..

I have done several tests and now just frustrated.. I would like to replace it.

I have spare parts for them, I need to know if you have a motometer or VDO cluster. At any rate, reflowing the solder fixes 99% of intermittent problems.

P.S. You can't always go by the cover, I have found VDO covers with motometer guts. You'll find this info on the printed circuit board.

I have a unmolested motometer... except for what i have done.. What do you have, is it in working condition, what would you like for it shipped to 45102?

When you say "reflowing the solder" does that mean heat it up and melt it then let it cool or is there something more to it?
