I have a 318i 82 E21. recentl i've had the head-gasket replace
( nasty hole between the 2nd and 3rd piston ment no compression. however it still drove, sotra)
Anyhow since this was done, you can drive around for a few minutes
then a oily, maybe exhaust smell that come from somewhere.
Has anyone had this, where does it come from, and how to fix.
Well, uh, I guess the most obvious scenario is that you're burning oil. You could also be dripping any kind of coolant onto hot engine parts. I recently got over that problem in a Camry.
