| How good are you at machining and mechanical/electronics/wiring? That will help you determine what you can do. That would be a cool upgrade I think! Oh, just thought about this... look for aftermarket mirrors. "M3" style mirrors are a hot aftermarket item for the rice boys/girls driving Honda's, check with the places that they buy stuff... nopi.com etc...
That would be MUCH easier than modifying your existing mirrors, but would still require a significant amount of wiring/relays/fuses and the like.
If you do make your own, do a write up for the rest of the forum members, that would be a cool touch of customization you don't normally see on E30's!
