There were NO stock side skirts sold with E30 here in the states.
The plate came with the car - my .02 - relax
It is a parts car and I got $25.00 for the plate this week...
Check out my website www.E30Parts.com for close up pictures of the enitre car. I drove it last summer for a bit and it was fun. I tought I was going to keep it until I found an 8 series I liked.
I am trying to get a feel for the market for these skirts. $250? for the pair sound about right? They do make the car look nice, even without the rear apron and the front spoiler.
If anyone knows for certain please let me know. Thanks.
all of the late plastic bumper cabrios came with side skirts up till 1992
those ones look dead on like the BBS skirts though...
Edit: that car is miss labelled as a 325iS in your original post, is it yours?

Those skirts pictured are not exactly the same. My skirts have a rounded portion that molds around the jacking points. Also, all of the holes for the entire skirt are as follows: 3 screws in the front wheel well, 4 along the top of the sill plate into the cabin, and 3 more in the back wheel well. There are no tentative holes anywhere else that would imply otherwise modifying these.
There is a 93 E30 Cabrio out there too ... yup, there is.
Yes, the car is MIS Labeled as a 1988 325is - my thumbnail generator HTML was not re-edited before I generated that last batch of thumbnails - that sucks because I don't plan on fixing it due to the time thing.
I have parted almost a score of E30's... I have never seen stock skirts on a Cabrio before. I just finished a 1991 E30 last year and there were no skirts on that car nor did it appear to have had any skirts on her ever! There were no holes in the wells or along the sill plates. Maybe I am dead wrong - But the only upgrade that I am familiar with was the 1988 upgrade to the front and rear bumpers, headlights, SRS, and eventually a cold weather package that hit around 1990-91. I am curious to see a timeline of updates if somebody has come across one. I would not be interested somebody’s "best guess". It would be fun to see it.
Well, seems there are a lot of good guesses out there. They are not Zender or M-Tech 1. They are not BBS either, but I knew that much.
There is a company called Kamei out there based in Germany that made these. Now for the real question: Did BMW offer a convertible with these side skirts as a STOCK option? I have had some tell me they did. I have parted several of these E30's and I thought I knew all of the dealer stock upgrades and options.
Can anybody help me out here? Does anyone have a nice visual timeline for the BMW E30 upgrades and dealer options from 1984 to 1993?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! Wolfgangsnoopy...

Well i dont know what to tell you, maybe people cut them off and replaced them with standard E30 rockers, but ALL of the late model, plastic bumpered cabrios came from the factory, with better "rockers"/ side skirts
i wish you luck finding the maker of those side skirts though There are a lot of low production knocks offs of things like BBS and Mtech 1, pictured above is Mtech 1 also very similar in design... i have a feeling those are possibly one of the knock offs, or a dealer addition, who knows...
Edit: and yes im aware they made the E30 cabrio into early 93 but they are so low production i didnt feel the need to mention them
Edit2: You also forgot about the 325iX stock side skirts, late model shown above too

I'm willing to trade you my BBS Coupe/Sedan side skirts for yours and some money (if yours are not by BBS)
let me know if interested.
here's another pic of 'em, i'm in Socal....
and my Delphi iC with Kamei version of those side skirts, Zinno could use yours
as I'm a procrastinator's poster boy and don't know when
I'll ever finish installing that darn MT2 kit onto Delphi.
no way man the zinno with the hard top and gold BBS's is the biddness
