Should I Buy This?

a used car dealer with a bunch of older european cars, has an 83 bmw 3 series in the back. its been there for probably a few years. a while back someone tried to steal it. the ignitions all messed up, but he said it ran before that. i looked at it a long time ago once before when i didnt know anything about cars. now ive got some experience, interning with my mechanic. does anyone know how hard it would be to fix this and get it running? or the probability that it does run (aside from the ignition) also, would an 83 be carb'd or EFI?

he wants $300 for it, so im thinking if i offer $200 cash he might bring it down.

where you from? you cant go wrong with 300$

its ether a e30 or an e21, ether way it should be fuel injected ( as the only us import of the e21 was the 320i)

find out the model

im kinda in the same boat, but I did just get a 320i *the badge says that, me thinks its a 318...* , how can I figger out what E mine is? Mine was 450 lol

you can buy it for 200.. but to get it real sharp ur gunna prolly spend a couple grand

ya i figured it out cause I found a buncha cool stuff in the glove box
