I'm having trouble shifting and often have to force the car into gear (manual transmission). This mainly happens with 1st and 2nd. Does anyone know what this means?

I think there are bushings on the lever that can wear out.
What do you mean, 'force the can into gear?' Like, revmatching and shifting without the clutch? Because then you might have a worn throwout bearing or something.

i am pretty sure it is because your synchros are worn. Get new shift linkage accessories and that will fix the problem. Not really expensive.
