Selling My 86 325es Bmw

my keeps having problems so im getting sick of it im going to sell my 86 325es
description-
180k miles
5 speed
cd player
two 10'' JLsubs and ampe
muffler
new Tires ''H'' Rated as high of a rating i can get for the size of my rim
new brakes and roters
the car is bmw red very nice paint job
also it has a very nice bike rack on top
just spent a grand of little repairs like T bar and other shit

so yah i dont know how much i should ask i was hoping 3500
i bought it for 2800
if i take the subs, ampe and bike rack off then i think ill start at 3000 or 2800 im not sure what i want to do
so if anyone has ideas on how much i should sell if or if you might wnat to buy it email me or just write something

I'd check out the Blue Book value first. I know you've done improvements and all, but no one is going to pay over blue book. I paid $850 for mine, and I have an 86 325 es as well.

if its "nice" and looks perfect/drives good then
1. look at all the adds in your area
2. compare your mods w/any others
3. advertise yours as the BEST ever.
4. ask 5% above everything and be willing to neg.
5. try ebay
6. or part it out...perhaps over time you can get more from the parts.
7. KEEP IT,
ONE MORE YEAR (2006) and its a classic. if its been good to you and you added better componants than why not wait the additional year and get the classic plates, sell it for more someday.

honestly...if the body is straight id say 1200 - 1500 max...blue book is crap and no one follows it anymore...

Damn an 86 is no where near classic status i CA here is 30 years...lol which makes more sense but damn thats awesome...keep it...

Kinda funny..I just told my wife that as soon as I get the title back for our 97 jeep limited I'm selling it to buy a mid 90s 3 or 5 series. If im gonna pay high repair bills (like I do with the jeep) I might as well have to bmw Roundels stairing at me on the parking pad instead of one!

the good thing about bmw =
1. metric tools are easy / inexpensive
2. parts are made better/ last longer
3. tight steering
4. posi trac options and aftermarket- 300.00range
5. there are some that have 300,000miles w/original clutch. (mines got 197,000miles)
6. easier to park.
7. conv. is made
8. this list can go on ...look into the e30's-e36's - e46's ive seen a 1996 740i armored(bullet-proof) 4-sale for 7,000 .
this car was a diplomats daily driver w/all reciepts and maintenence.

start looking now, and by the time your jeeps paid you will have found several cherries.
