Question regarding seats. My driver's seat has a broken hinge on the right side, and appears un-fixable. Will seats from any other vehicle fit my Bimmer? I know that on my MG, Fiero seats are a direct fit. I can't seem to find a sport seat or frame in my area, so I'm looking to just replace both. Lots of American and ricer cars available with usable seats, so I'm just wondering if anyone out there has replaced theirs with anything different?
I don't want to spend a fortune on this thing, because it's a toy, and frankly only worth about $1000 if I'm lucky. I'm getting a clunk in the rear end when I apply or let off power, and I suspect that the drive shaft will need replacement. A may just have to junk it anyway.
