probably, i once helped mate an S14 Racing Almn Flywheel and clutch kit to an M50
Required a little machining, but not too bad...also needed to run an S14 starter to line up right...
im almost positive its a direct swap on the M42 aside from the starter alignment issue of having a single mass flywheel but this might not be an issue with the M42....most people convert their M42's to the M20 single mass clutch/flywheel from the i/iS though
