rough idle

i have a really rough idle when i start my car (sound and feels like a chevy 350 with a raceing cam or something) the car shakes back and forth

but if i pull off the vacuum line on the back of the intake manifold and plug it with my finger the idle smooths out.

what that mean?

i guess no one else has this problem?

I do have this same problem, and its a little better once I do what you did. I'd like to know what the canister on the other end of that vacumn line does, I have for awhile.

the canister is the fuel pressure regulator.

yea i allready replaces the regulator and nothing changed

now if i could just get that dam O2 sensor out
