irish is an unknown quantity at this point
Any one ever replaced a convertible top themselves ......... I have an '87 325i (top raises manually) ....... I am interested in advice on the type (vinyl vs canvas ...), sources, installation directions....etc...

Redneck M5 is an unknown quantity at this point
I had mine replace by an upholstry shop. I can't imagine doing the work myself.

It is a huge pain in the ass, and even some professionals can't get it to look right everytime.

Save yourself the headache and just get it done.
