ok my friend has this remus exhaust that was on his golf gti he wants to sell to me and i know that remus exhaust systems are good for euro's but the problem is the 325 has the same exhaust system as 325i two pipes to muffler this has 1 exhaust shop can fix it but im still now to sure there pics

hmm, pipes look rusted, even though meh...id say get new piping for that, but get the muffler, because Remus makes awesome exhaust.

yea go for it, a y-pipe will work fine, if you dont let me know and i will buy it

I thought the Eta had a single-inlet system, and only the 325i had the dual?
The outlet situation shouldn't really make a difference in compatability; might have some impact on performance gain and economy.

eta did have single, super eta has dual i believe

thanks a will probably get it i never even thought of a y-pipe but can they run a y-pipe that close? i always thought they were like for fake dual exhaust systems, dude it sounded so tight on his golf kinda sounded like he had cams

i have a y-pipe on mine and it is fine. it is a custom y-pipe though
