Quick question, Just installed a remote starter, works perfectly, the only problem i am having is when i remote start the car only, the check light on the cluster that flashes and disapeers when you press the brake pedal does not disapeer as when you start the car with the key, even when i put the key in the ignition and press the pedal it still remains on, just wondering did i miss anything or you guys have any suggestions on what it could be.
The light would disapear if i start the car normally but.
What is it showing on the warning board above the rear view mirror, brakes or tail etc? It sounds like the "indicator" function in the remote starter is making the warning board think there is a burned out bulb, you may have to install a diode or a relay to prevent this.
Just checked the warning board, it only indicates a brake light failure, but normally you would press the brake and it will disapeer, the thing is it works perfectly when you start the car with the key but not when remote starting it.
I noticed there are 2 smaller wires connected to the ignition cyliner, any suggestions on to what they are?
