Rebuilding my 82' 320iS - BMW Forum

hey guys, i've been on the site for a while, formally known as dubes1982bmw320i, i sold some of the parts off of my car in disgust of seeing my heart and soul cracked and i just didn't want to deal with rebuilding it. So i sold the beautiful recaros,spoiler and kosei k-1 racing rims. An as winter sets in on the Northeast i hated to see my car sitting out in the elements on jack stands. So i've decided to give the car another go. It needs a new steering rack, new driver's front fender, wheels, brakes, light body work, new exhaust piping, clutch, valve adjustment, sound system, SEATS, and some other smaller details... but i think i'll be able to handle almost of of it... just wanted to let ya know i'm back and wish me luck

Good luck on the 320i!

An 83 was my first BMW, what a great durable car! I drove mine to the junk yard with over 750k on the odmeter. The car never left me on the side of the road.
This little 320i, and the 2002 are largely responsible for helping to make BMW's reputation for durability and performance.

yep it's only got 131,000 miles on it now and and out 40k on it after rebuild, so the engine hurdles should be minimal, the rest of the car is hopefully going to be easy to restore but there will always be those knuckle busting SOB jobs...but i'm looking forward to it
