Hey, i was driving along then came to a stop and i heard and extremely loud thud like someone threw a bolder at my car. when i turned around the rear windshield was spidercracked all the way across. i jumped out and looked around but noone was insight. there is one point where it started but it isn't a chip. has this happened to anyone else? i have a 87 325is
Were you using the rear defog before it happened? I had that happen too. Some of the rear defog stripes were not working, so the glass is heated unevenly. I'm sure that caused some glass to expand more than other and caused the break
