What is the pre 88' ES and IS rear deck lips made from ? Are most of them made from rubber? Thanks---------------- Steve

i just took my rear deck lip off my 1991 318is and it seems to be some type of super stiff rubber with a big strip of metal running through the middle. I would think it would be the same for the pre 88 models as well. hope that helps
