Im looking to build a rally typeish car (not competinional level or anything just for booting down old logging roads and I realy dig the e30 body style so i was wondering is the hole chassis/suspension componets quite durable on them?
Cause my plan is to get a e30 bmw raise it maybe an inch or so for extra clearance
put a 6 or 4 point cage in it do some suspension tuning and maybe beef the engine up a bit
is this pheaseable or am i better off getting a old 2wd pick up and goign the trophy truck route?
i'd do it up, i think it would make a great rally car, very easy to control and you can fix any suspention part that breaks right on the side of the road

well I actually rally in a local compitition around here and i usually come out in top 5 every time. However you wont be able to raise it up because theres no parts out there to do it... however it has excellent ground clearence as it is.
Where i go, theres mud, dirt and sharp turns... i love it.
Also sunday im going to a solo II race around here. First one ive been to in a while.
