Radio And Obc Suddenly Dead - BMW Forum

Got into my 1985 325e yesterday and the Oil Service light was on with all 3 red lights. Odd since I never saw the 1 or 2 light warning, but I drove on. Until I realized that my (aftermarket) radio wasn't on (no power to it whatsoever)... and my OBC display was dead.

No idea what happened here.

I've already checked all my fuses. One of the 7.5s was out so I replaced it, but it didn't fix the problem. I don't have an owner's manual, so I don't even know what I fixed.

Anyone have any idea about what I'm up against here?

I'm not that sure what caused that. It sounds like a fuse, but like you said, its not. I'm going to listen in on the responses to this one though because my car is doing similar things. No clock (where the OBC should be) and no dummy lights, oil service lights, brake lights, nothing.

Been trying to post this to some of the other e30 boards out there to see if any of their regulars have run into this in the past, but dtmpower.net isn't letting me create a new thread
