One of the 325 I just purchased has had the original radio replaced with an after market one. I would like to replace that one with the original. Now comes the problem, the prior owner cut off the original connectors to install the after market one. Anyone have any idea where I might get these connectors? Thanks
By connectors do you mean the wiring harness that plugs into the radio itself? If so you may want to check a junk yard to see if they have a 325 of the same (or close) model year and get eh harness out of that one. Then sodder (or use soderless connectors) the harness into your car and viola!
You're gonna have to just get the radio harness from another car... I personally use ball and socket type quick disconnects for my installations, this is the same type of connector that most car stereo shops use.

Yeah, those are nice and easy to work with. I'm a nut so I sodder all my connections, then wrap them up individually in electrical tape, then wrap the bundle together.
No way Heat shrinks is tha bomb yo. We use it on the parts we work on. Wire bundles, connectors, even Soda cans. Shrinkage is only bad if you go in the water in the Hamptons.
Some people preffer the all stock look. Plus, when it comes down to it, and the car is a real classic, it'll probably be worth more all stock as opposed to partly stock. This is just a guess however.

I'll give you that. Those are people out there who would prefer to have a car totatly factory. They are predominately the people who show their cars. But those people are few and far between
Having flown helicopters all my life I can't hear the thing anyway, so I'm going for the look. Anyone out there changing to an after market, send me the connectors you have to cut off. Thanks
