Radio code

Currently I do not have time to go to the dealership to get the code for the radio due to my e30 not 100% safe to drive lol.....my e30 is a 1987 325e and the serial number of the radio is F70424829A....can anyone look it up for me or knows anywhere I can look it up?

The only way I have ever heard of is to go to a dealer where you can show ownership. That should be respected; without that policy the code wouldn't be much good.

Thanks man! Ill go to one of the dealerships near me with the title and and Id to show that I did not steal the radio or the car haha

I've heard you can call with the serial number and the VIN and they will give it to you per the phone. I have never tried this though and some dealerships might, others might not but it seems safer then driving your car their.

perhaps you can try to check the connection for the battery. Tighten the positive caple clamp retaining nutand then the negative cable clamp retaning nut.

Put the key in the ignition and turn the ignition to the "II" position.

Turn on the radio power button. The words "CODE" will appear on the BMW's radio screen.
