Yesterday me and my budy at work put a new muffler on my 325i. I installed a Spintech Sportsman Street, dual 2 1/4" inlets with a single 3" outlet. It sounds sweet. It was everything I was hoping for and then some I don't have a way to post a sound clip, but I might be able to have my friend help me make one in a few weeks.

sorry man but single outlet round canisters belong on japanese cars.
the only bimmer that the can (at least to me) is acceptable on is DODO's car
You obiviously have no idea what a spintech looks like. I also painted mine flat black so it doesn't stand out at all. I'll take a pic tomorrow and post what mine looks like.
Mine has a similar shape to the one on the right but my outlet is in the center and I have dual inlets.
This is something ive been interested in. Are they similar in construction to flowmasters, as in the fact that they dont use padding just chambers? How much do they cost? And was it good bit louder than stock or just a bit?

It's way louder than stock. Check out their website for more info on how they are built, spintechmufflers.com

Counting the muffler, express shipping, and the 2 adapters I had to get it was arround $150 total. I didn't have to pay for install cause me and my friend at work installed it. It is way louder than stock, but to me it sound super nice.
mine is kinda simiar, i got a flowmaster strait off of the manifold, then from there is runs strait back 3in to a Ractive muffler with a 4in opening. Yeah Yeah ricer this and that, whatever, but it sounds great. It's not the lawn mower sound, but its nice and deep, like the touring car racers.
