Purchase of 1984 318i

Help anyone.............

I'm considering the purchase of a 318i 1984 model, 191k, a minor body work(nicks and dents), also noticed the manual roof does'nt close all the way. The interior needs new seats(driver and passenger), console can use radio replacement and some of the buttons for various funtions. Have not heard the engine run, was told that the fuel pump(tank) was bad and needed to be replaced.

Price: $500.00

Would this be a good investment? I have the willingness to put the work, money, and time in. I kinda needing some direction here. Should I/should'nt I.
By the way presently I have 2001 530i and it's the bomb.....love it

seems like i tcould be a good investment. at only 500$ for something in a codition as good as the one you stated. sounds like you could have quite a beast in your hands. Id go for it. s'only 500$.
