Punctured Oil Pan

Ya...uh my oil pan got punctured, not quite sure y it had to happen to me though...hahaha. However, how long does it take to remove the oil pan from underneath the car and if an '87 325is oil pan will fit an '85 325e car (if i take it from one and put it in another)?[/b] please answer asap! thanx!

i dont think they are interchangable but they could be, do some research.

it isnt that hard, you can un bolt the mounts and jack up the engine, or i think you can unbolt the subframe and it'll come down some.

It is the same for the E and the I and I'm sure you can call the dealer and ask for the IS.

the e pan will work fine.

its not as easy as some other cars, but still its not too big of a deal.
