problems with my rear left tire:help

the rearleft tire on my 82 320i has some pretty bad negitive camber. im not sure why though. i have put my car on jack stand several times and i cant see anything bent or broken. but we did some measurements and both times the left side came up short. first we measured from th top of the tire to the bottom of the wheel well and the left side was 3/4" shorter than the right side. then we measured friom the frame to the tire and that measurement was also 3/4" short. i have been doing alot of research as well as looking at the shop manuals and as far as i ca tell theres no way to adjust my camber with the stock linkage, is this true? i have no idea as to what the cause of the problem but its pretty important that i get it fixed because it wears my tire to hell im on the second one in three months. any help will be appriciated

first of all, you can't do that with the car on jacks...unsprung...what? The car has to be on the ground with full load to determine that kind of thing....

You are correct when you say there is no adjustability on the rear end. Any amount you do have is very minimal.
