problem with top end

My 325i when I bought it reved 6700 rpm and ran into the redline in 5th but since I changed the wheels to 17inch it is faster off the mark but doesnt redline in 5th any more so can I up my feul pressure to get it to that point agen with 17's on??

fuel pressure has nothing to do with your problem, the problem is the added weight and rolling resistance from the new wheels...

what make are they? and what specs? Weight? 17 x what? and what make/size tires are you running?

the wider the tires are the more resistance there is to move the tire better traction but less gas mileage and top speed. i kept 16" on mine but the 17" look nice and good traction

ya im pretty happy rolling on 16x7's with 205/40/16's, no traction issues either as im running BFG gForce Sports

Zennetti's its a 17' -7.5j wheel with 205/40/r17 dunlop sp9000 tyres so you would say put on 16' how would the 15' light wieght rims do?

a lightweight 15 would probably be a lot lighter

my 16's are just around 12-14 pounds each
